Description
Shoreline systems are dynamic coastal environments shaped by the constant interaction of wind-generated waves, tides, and currents. Waves, acting as the primary energy source, erode rocky structures (headlands) and transport sediment, depositing it to form features like beaches and sandbars. Key processes include wave refraction, refraction-driven littoral drift, and the, constant, erosion-deposition cycle.
