Covalent Bond In Water
Project Information

Description
In water (H₂O), the covalent bonds form when the oxygen atom and the two hydrogen atoms share electrons to achieve full outer shells, creating a stable molecule. Because oxygen attracts these shared electrons more strongly than hydrogen does, it creates an uneven distribution of charge, resulting in a polar covalent bond.
