Description
The Earth is composed of four main layers: the crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core. These layers can be described based on their chemical composition and physical properties. The crust is the outermost layer, followed by the mantle, which is the thickest layer. The core is divided into the outer core (liquid) and the inner core (solid).
