Description
A phases of the moon model for a STEM Lab school activity can be constructed using a simple setup with a light source (representing the sun), a sphere (representing the moon), and a smaller sphere or object (representing the Earth). Students can then observe how the illuminated portion of the moon changes as it orbits the Earth, demonstrating the different phases of the moon.
