Description
A Crookes radiometer, also known as a light mill, is a device that demonstrates the conversion of light energy into mechanical motion. It consists of a glass bulb containing a partial vacuum with vanes that are black on one side and silver (or white) on the other. When exposed to light, the vanes rotate, with the blackened sides typically moving away from the light source.
