Description
The floating ring experiment, also known as the jumping ring or levitating ring experiment, demonstrates the principles of electromagnetic induction and Lenz's law. In this experiment, a conductive ring (usually aluminum) is placed over an electromagnet, and when an alternating current is applied to the electromagnet, the ring levitates and floats above it.
