Reflection of Light through Glass Prism
Project Information

- Sub Category: STEM LAB
- Model Number:
- Category: SCHOOL LAB EQUIPMENT
Description
In a STEM lab, the refraction of light through a glass prism demonstrates how light bends as it passes from one medium to another, due to changes in speed. This bending, or refraction, is caused by the different speeds of light in different materials. When white light enters a prism, it separates into its constituent colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) because each color has a slightly different wavelength and is refracted at a slightly different angle.
