Description
A Newton's Disk, also known as a color disk or color wheel, is a STEM lab tool used to demonstrate that white light is composed of all the colors of the visible spectrum. It consists of a disk divided into segments of different colors (typically the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet). When spun rapidly, the colors blend together due to persistence of vision, creating the perception of white light.
