Description
It typically consists of a base, a stand, a card or small platform, and a ball (often a metal ball). The setup involves placing the ball on the card, which is supported by the stand. When the card is quickly flicked or struck, it accelerates away, while the ball, due to its inertia, remains at rest and falls due to gravity, demonstrating the principle that an object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
